How to wear the uniform properly

Royal Canadian Army Cadets Dress Regulations (CATO 46-01)

As a Royal Canadian Army Cadet you will be required to wear your uniform as ordered by the Commanding Officer and in accordance with Army Cadet Dress Regulations. CATO (Cadet Administrative and Training Order) 46-01 has all the information you will require in regards to your uniform, from which parts are worn with what to where your shiny new badge or pin go.  If you have any questions ask a NCO or an Officer and they will be happy to assist you. Remember, if it is not mentioned in the CATO, you can't wear it with your uniform.

iron pants
A great video that show shows how to keep the creases sharp in your uniform pants.
iron tunic
Although this is an Air Cadet uniform it shows how to iron your uniform properly.
Polish boots
Don't get discouraged if your boots don't look this good right away. It takes a while to get your boots like mirrors. Make sure you shine your whole boot....not just the toe. :)
Male Haircut
This video shows what the hair around your ears and neck should look like. You do not have to "buzz" your hair on the top like the cadet in the video but your hair must meet standard around your ears and neck.
Female Hair
Females are expected to keep hair neat and tidy.
